So here’s a real short one.
I just made delicious Butter Horns for Breakfast tomorrow and I decided to post the recipe for everybody who wants more for breakfast then scrambled eggs and blue milk (come on, it’s Boba Calrissian, you need the Star Wars hint…)
1 package dry yeast
1 cup milk
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
5 cups white flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix milk, sugar, eggs and flour, add yeast-water. Beat it until the dough isn’t sticky, maybe you need some more flour..
Put it on a warm place and let it rise (it gets about double in size)
Beat it again, divide into 4 pieces, roll them out in circular shapes and cut into 8 pie-shapes.
Brush pieces with melted butter, roll them up, starting with the wide end.
Don’t brush their outside with butter before putting them into the oven, they would be getting real dark!
Bake at 400°F for 20 Min.
Makes 32 rolls.
Hopefully I’ll able to go on a nature phototrip, then I will show some pics here.
But for now enjoy your meal!!!!
