The Queen of Hearts still making tarts

Here is the recipe for our weekend cake:

Rhubarb-Banana Pie

Dough:

75 g sugar

150 g quark cheese

6 Tbsp milk

6 Tbsp oil

1 tsp vanilla essence

300 g flour

1 pck baking soda

Mix all ingredients with an electric mix, knead by hand and roll out.

Cover the bottom of a springform with the dough.

Filling:

350 g rhubarb, peeled and cut in 1/2 inch pieces

1 Tbsp sugar

2 bananas, cut in 1/2 inch pieces

Mix rhubarb and sugar and let stand for about 15 min.

Pour the fruits on dough

Topping:

250 g sour cream

75 g sugar

4 eggs

Mix all ingredients with an electric mixer and pour over fruits.

Bake at 400°F for 40 min.

The mixture of the super sweet bananas and the slightly sour taste of the rhubarb is great and very delicious. It’s not a very beautiful pie, but you will love it, very refreshing!!!
